SharkBite®'s PEX Poly Alloy Barb Reducing Tees come in a variety of different sizes and allow for pipe-size reduction in multiple ways. The SharkBite® PEX Barb fittings are compatible for potable water distribution and hydronic heating applications. These fittings can be used in both a stainless steel clamp system, or a copper crimp ring system as well (each sold separately).

  • Broad line of fittings, manifolds, regulator, thermostatic and ball valves: A typical barb system offers the lowest material cost
  • Clamp ring connections: The time saving clamp rings and tool offer reduced equipment cost, one tool clamps all sizes and the necessity to check each fitting ring with a go/no-go gauge is eliminated
  • Crimp ring connections: Copper crimp rings and the heavy duty tool with interchangeable jaws, does not require calibration and allows each joint to be checked with a go/no-go gauge
  • Advanced polymer solution for when corrosion may affect DZR brass products
  • Can be used with either SharkBite® clamp rings or SharkBite® crimp rings
  • ASTM F2159 specification for plastic insert fittings utilizing a copper crimp ring for SDR9 cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) tubing and SDR9 polyethylene of raised temperature (PE-RT) tubing
